Position Type:
PRN (Weekend Availability Highly Preferred) Help Our Residents Reclaim Their Independence Are you a dedicated and visionary Occupational Therapist looking for a high-impact PRN role? Shadelands Post Acute is seeking an expert clinician to join our premier in-house therapy team. At Shadelands, we believe Occupational Therapy is the cornerstone of helping residents return to the lives they love. We are looking for a clinician who can provide expert evaluations and treatments—particularly on weekends—to ensure our residents receive consistent, world-class care throughout their entire recovery journey.

Clinical Leadership:
Take an active role in professional mentorship by supervising COTAs and guiding our restorative nursing team.
Your Clinical Impact Expert Evaluations:
Develop evidence-based treatment plans and secure physician approvals to kickstart the rehabilitation process.
Functional Goal-Setting:
Focus on the critical skills of daily living, empowering residents to regain their autonomy and independence.
Mentorship:
Provide clinical oversight for Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and assist in training Restorative Aides.
Collaborative Care:
Lead the way in patient care conferences and utilization reviews, ensuring seamless communication across the interdisciplinary team.
Documentation Excellence:
Maintain high standards for evaluations and progress notes in full compliance with the OT Board and third-party payers.
Home-Going Success:
Facilitate caregiver training and manage DME orders (grab bars, braces, etc.) to ensure every resident has a safe transition home.

Qualifications Licensure:
Current, valid Occupational Therapist (OT) License in the state of California.
Focus:
