Key Qualifications & Experience:

Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), eligible in Colorado Background in delivering OT services in schools (K-12) preferred Experience with both fine motor and gross motor skill development Proficiency in developing and adapting therapy plans tailored to individual IEPs Familiarity and comfort with teletherapy platforms for remote service delivery Strong collaboration and communication abilities, working effectively with teachers, families, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' needs across academic and functional domains Design and implement targeted interventions promoting student participation and independence in school activities Address fine and gross motor skill development, adapting activities for diverse learning needs Provide direct therapy sessions both in-person and virtually as required Maintain clear documentation and progress notes according to school and regulatory standards Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise in OT to support student goals Educate and consult with classroom staff and parents to ensure strategies carry over across settings
