Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting elementary students for the remainder of the school year. Help shape young learners' educational journeys by delivering vital therapeutic services at two vibrant school sites near Loveland, CO. Working with a caseload of approximately 45 students, you'll contribute to a collaborative team environment that values your expertise and dedication.
Qualifications & Background:
Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Colorado. Prior experience with pediatric or school-based OT strongly preferred. Proficiency in developing and implementing IEP goals. Solid communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families. Ability to manage and organize services across multiple campuses. Comfortable working full time; four-day workweek option may be available.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans. Deliver direct OT services to approximately 45 elementary-aged students. Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines. Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, progress, and outcomes. Attend IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress. Travel between two designated school sites to facilitate services. In this role, you will make a meaningful impact by promoting students' independence and participation in school activities. The flexible work schedule (full time, with a possible four-day week) offers balance throughout the assignment.
