Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting near Olathe, CO. This onsite position focuses on delivering expert OT services in a collaborative, educational environment. Contribute your specialized skills for just 2 hours per week, making a meaningful impact with a flexible, manageable commitment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Occupational Therapy license for Colorado Previous experience in school-based or pediatric OT preferred Comfortable working onsite in an educational setting Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy strategies Knowledge of current best practices for OT in a school environment
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to their IEPs Evaluate students to assess needs, set goals, and monitor progress Work closely with teachers, parents, and other educational specialists to support student participation and success Document assessments, progress reports, and treatment plans accurately and timely Participate in IEP team meetings and contribute OT expertise to support student achievement Offer staff training or consultation as needed for student accommodations Adhere to federal, state, and local compliance standards for OT in schools
