Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist providing essential therapy services across four welcoming school sites in a vibrant educational community near Olathe, CO. This engaging assignment runs from ASAP until the end of the first semester, offering you a fulfilling caseload of approximately 30 students ranging from early childhood through high school. Your expertise will be key in supporting students' motor, sensory, and functional skills to maximize their success in the classroom and beyond.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Colorado Occupational Therapy license (please provide verification with your application) Active Colorado Department of Education certification (please include verification with your submission) Experience with pediatric or school-based OT services is highly valued Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adjust approaches for various developmental stages
Role Overview:
Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and consultations to students across four schools Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Travel between Olathe ECC, Olathe Elementary, Olathe Middle/High, and Oak Grove Elementary as assigned Contribute professional insight during multidisciplinary meetings Maintain clear, timely, and compliant documentation
