A full-time contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide essential school-based services during a maternity (FMLA) leave, with a potential for extension beyond the initial contract. What Were Looking For:

Active Connecticut Occupational Therapist license or COTA certification (CT DPH License/NBCOT required) Experience working in school settings strongly preferred Background supporting Pre-K through 12th-grade students Reliable personal transportation Comfortable with a temporary contract assignment covering maternity leave, with the understanding that an extension is possible but not guaranteed

What Youll Do:

Deliver school-based occupational therapy or COTA services to students district-wide (PreK12) Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of services and student progress For COTA candidates: work under the direction of an OT in accordance with licensing requirements Flexibly adapt to a district-wide schedule, approximately 77.5 hours each day Why Apply?
