School-Based | Full-Time or Part-Time Opportunities May Be Available Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a school district in Greenwich, CT. This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who is passionate about helping students develop the skills they need to succeed academically, socially, and functionally in the school environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related service providers to support students' developmental needs and promote independence throughout the school day. Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs. Evaluate students' fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and functional skills. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals. Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student progress. Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records. Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions. Recommend classroom accommodations, adaptive equipment, and strategies to promote student success. Support students in developing independence with classroom activities and daily living skills. Qualifications Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Active Connecticut occupational therapy license or eligibility to obtain licensure. Experience working with children in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred. Knowledge of IEPs, special education services, and school-based therapy practices.
