What You Bring:

Active Connecticut Occupational Therapist (OT) license or Connecticut COTA license/certification (CT DPH; NBCOT Exam passed) Previous experience in a school setting preferred Reliable transportation to support service across school sites Comfort working with a wide range of disabilities and age groups, from Pre-K through high school Commitment to completing the full temporary leave assignment, understanding that while extension is likely, it is not guaranteed

In This Role You Will:

Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services for students throughout the district Implement individualized treatment plans and document student progress Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure student goals are being met Support students with diverse physical, developmental, and sensory needs to enable participation in educational activities For COTA applicants, work under the supervision and direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist This full-time, district-wide position typically spans 77.5 hours per day, with the finalized schedule confirmed by the district.
