Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting elementary students with occupational therapy services this school year! This full-time contract opportunity is based near Norwalk, CT, and runs from ASAP through the end of the school year. You'll provide expert OT interventions in a school-based setting, collaborating with educators and families to enhance student engagement and functional independence.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current and active OT licensure in Connecticut (or eligibility) Experience or strong interest in working in elementary school settings Comfort providing therapeutic interventions individually and in small groups Excellent communication and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in the elementary caseload Deliver engaging OT sessions focused on fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation skills Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate OT recommendations into students' daily routines Maintain clear documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as needed Participate in ongoing professional development and school staff meetings
