Primary Responsibilities:
Conducts assessments and standardized evaluations (BDI, Peabody, HELP, VBMAPP etc.) across developmental domains to determine eligibility and ongoing needs. In partnership with families, develops multidisciplinary strategies for a child's IFSP to address routine activities. Assist team with transition of child out of Birth to Three. Provides supervision to OT fieldwork students as needed. Writes quality IFSPs that meet state, federal and agency requirements Participates in team meetings as requested
All Candidates Must Maintain:
A valid driver's license A current auto insurance policy Approved Crisis Intervention Certification (e.g., Safety Care, CPI, PMT) Minimum Qualification Maintains license by the Department of Public Health under § 20-74b C.G.S.
Minimum Physical Requirements:
Ability to move easily between sitting and standing. Ability to maintain a safe, supportive environment by quickly responding to clients as needed (i.e. blocking unsafe behavior or quickly moving to reinforce positive behavior) and following all agency health and safety policies.
