POSITION
Occupational Therapist (10-Months, .80 FTE; Schedule to be Determined)
LOCATION
Stafford School District
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Occupational Therapist provides direct and consultative therapy services to enhance students' fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills. Provides direct OT services to students in accordance with their IEPs Consults with team members (teachers, paraeducators, providers, etc.) regarding student needs and effective delivery of occupational therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs Conducts ongoing progress monitoring, analyzes student data, and adjusts service delivery accordingly Participates in PPT meetings Completes Progress Reports in CTSEDS in alignment with report cards and or annual review PPTs Completes Medicaid Billing in a timely manner Recommends appropriate fine motor and/or sensory processing evaluations at PPTs Conducts comprehensive fine motor and/or sensory processing evaluations to determine eligibility for OT services and to identify areas of need Maintains confidentiality as appropriate Collaborates with school staff and administration Other related task as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed Occupational Therapist in Connecticut Experience with pediatric or school-based OT preferred
SALARY / BENEFITS
$45.00
  • $65.
00 per hour, commensurate with experience Competitive benefit package including defined contribution plan (50% employer match, up to 6% of salary); employer contribution to HSA deductible (50%); employer paid life insurance and long-term disability; paid sick and personal leave; and paid holidays.
