Job Description

Step into a dynamic school-based role serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. This full-time contract assignment will cover an FMLA maternity leave for approximately 12 weeks, with a strong likelihood of being extended, though the initial commitment is to the duration of the leave. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact across a diverse student population in a district-wide setting.

Key Qualifications:

Active Connecticut OT license or COTA certification (CT DPH License and passed NBCOT Exam required) Previous school-based experience preferred Well-versed in supporting students with a variety of disabilities Reliable personal transportation Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary education teams Strong organizational and documentation skills Fully comfortable committing to a temporary position with the possibility, but not guarantee, of extension

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate documentation meeting district and legal requirements Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and families to support student growth Support students across multiple school campuses as assigned COTAs will provide care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist This contract role offers an immediate start with a structured schedule spanning approximately 7-7.5 hours per day, and the chance to shape young lives across an entire school district.
