This position is ideal for a pediatric OT who is looking for flexible, part-time work during after-school hours and enjoys providing individualized, family-centered care to children in their homes and/or clinic setting. About Play and Thrive Play and Thrive is a pediatric physical and occupational therapy practice providing individualized care to children and families throughout Fairfield County. We are a team of experienced pediatric therapists who believe therapy should be effective, engaging, and fun for both children and their families.

Per Diem Pediatric Occupational Therapist Schedule:

Flexible, primarily after-school hours

Setting:

In-home and/or clinic-based therapy

Caseload:

Pediatric clients with a variety of developmental, sensory, and functional needs

Employment Type:

Per Diem / Part-Time Responsibilities Provide individualized occupational therapy evaluations and treatment to pediatric clients Develop and implement family-centered treatment plans Address fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, self-care skills, handwriting, coordination, and functional participation Support children with developmental delays and other pediatric diagnoses Provide parent/caregiver education and home activities to support carryover Collaborate with families and other members of the child's care team when appropriate Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Create a fun, supportive, and engaging therapy environment Ideal Candidate We are looking for an OT who: Is a licensed Occupational Therapist in Connecticut (additional state licensure is a plus) Has pediatric occupational therapy experience Enjoys working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children Is warm, energetic, compassionate, and family-centered Is comfortable working independently Has strong communication and organizational skills Is looking for a flexible opportunity that can fit around an existing schedule Enjoys incorporating play into therapy and making treatment engaging and meaningful Pediatric experience is strongly preferred.
