Key Qualifications:

Active and valid Occupational Therapist license required Prior experience in a K-12 school setting is strongly preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff Strong communication skills and adaptability to varied student needs Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and positive learning atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students Deliver direct therapy services to help students improve their functional and academic performance Collaborate with teachers, multi-disciplinary teams, and families to support student progress Document and track student progress, preparing necessary reports and records Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support plans Stay current on best practices in school-based occupational therapy
