Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As an Occupational Therapist at Delmar Nursing & Rehabilitation, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients, providing evidence-based geriatric care in a dynamic and supportive environment. Responsibilities:
Perform Occupational Therapy services for inpatients in a Skilled Nursing Facility, including evaluation, assessment, treatment planning, splinting, patient and community relations, education, and implementation and delivery of services. Provide high-quality care and positive outcomes for patients, while collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and services.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited OT school. Current Maryland licensure. BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist is preferred.
