Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year as a full-time occupational therapist. This contract position offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and make a difference in the educational journey of children and adolescents. Candidates with experience in school-based, home health, or healthcare occupational therapy settings will be especially valued.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active and valid Occupational Therapy license in Delaware Experience providing occupational therapy services to children or adolescents within educational or healthcare settings Strong communication and collaboration skills A thorough understanding of IEP documentation and the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams Capability to develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented therapy plans

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' motor, behavioral, and adaptive needs Deliver occupational therapy interventions aligned with individual education plans Maintain detailed and accurate documentation as required by school guidelines and regulatory standards Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student independence and success Contribute to eligibility meetings, progress reviews, and goal-setting discussions for students' continued growth Participate in professional development and contribute your expertise to school initiatives
