School Occupational Therapist

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, working with an elementary and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) caseload. This position is based in Middletown, Delaware, and offers a contract through the end of the school year. The role focuses on providing comprehensive OT services in a school setting, supporting students' developmental and functional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to elementary students, including those with ASD Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement intervention plans Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to track student development Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills to enhance school participation Maintain documentation in compliance with school and state regulations

Qualifications:

Valid Delaware Occupational Therapist license required Experience working in school settings with elementary and ASD populations preferred Strong assessment and intervention skills tailored to pediatric clients Ability to work effectively with educational teams and families Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills
