Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference as an Occupational Therapist working in a dynamic educational environment near Odessa, DE. This contract opportunity provides the chance to support high school students and individuals aged 18-22, focusing on their unique developmental and rehabilitation needs within a school-based setting. Enjoy a collaborative atmosphere while delivering services that truly matter. Contract period runs from July 6, 2026 through August 6, 2026, with orientation and set-up scheduled for July 6th. The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, with staff hours varying by assignment location. Only in-person candidates will be considered for this role.
What We're Looking For:
Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in DE or eligibility for state licensure Experience with school-based OT services, including developing and implementing IEPs Familiarity with occupational therapy practices in home health or healthcare settings is an asset Prior work with high school students and transition-aged young adults (18-22) is preferred Comfort adapting strategies to diverse learning and developmental needs Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
