This position, available immediately and continuing through the end of the school year, is tailored for a skilled Occupational Therapist who thrives in educational environments and enjoys a flexible schedule. With a light caseload and a primary responsibility for student evaluations, youll play a pivotal role in helping students succeed in their learning and daily activities.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapy license and DE state certification required Previous experience as a school-based OT, with proficiency working with adolescents Strong knowledge of evaluation tools and re-evaluation processes Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills Familiarity with IEPs and collaboration within interdisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations, focusing on middle and high school students Assess students functional abilities and develop tailored recommendations to support academic participation Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other service providers to communicate findings and ensure continuity of care Maintain accurate and timely documentation in alignment with school policies and compliance regulations Participate in IEP meetings as needed, contributing expertise to support student development
