Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Occupational Therapist and make a meaningful impact on patients' lives by helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life. In this vital role, you will evaluate, plan, and implement personalized therapy programs across diverse settings, including inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools, skilled nursing facilities, home health, and post-acute care environments. Your expertise will support individuals of all ages—pediatrics to geriatrics—working with those with disabilities, autism, or recovering from injury or illness. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities and needs Develop and implement tailored care plans focused on improving daily living activities (ADLs), mobility, and overall well-being Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide adaptive strategies to enhance independence Coordinate discharge planning and case management to ensure seamless transitions between care settings Collaborate with physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Document progress accurately and maintain detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards Educate patients and families on therapy techniques, safety measures, and home modifications for ongoing support Requirements Valid occupational therapy license or certification in the relevant state or country Proven experience working in inpatient settings such as hospitals or skilled nursing facilities Familiarity with acute care environments. Experience working with diverse populations. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient care principles Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual needs and goals Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and educating patients/families Demonstrated ability to manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care Embark on a fulfilling career where your expertise transforms lives!
