Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as an Occupational Therapist within a school environment for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the chance to make a genuine difference in students' development and educational success. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, starting your journey in August 2026 and concluding in May 2027.
Key Qualifications:
Hold a valid Occupational Therapist license Experience in school-based OT services is highly desired Knowledge of K-12 developmental and educational needs Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and adaptive problem-solving Commitment to supporting student independence and participation in the classroom
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver assessments and direct therapy to students with diverse needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and families Document evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress in accordance with district policies Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and expertise as part of the special education team Offer consultative support and training to staff for inclusive classroom strategies Advocate for student needs to help each individual reach their fullest potential The position is designed with professionals in mind, balancing a consistent full-time schedule (40 hours/week) that aligns with the school calendar.
