In this role, you will evaluate and treat infants, children, and adolescents with developmental, physical, sensory, and neurological challenges. You will develop individualized treatment plans to help children achieve greater independence in daily activities, improve functional skills, and reach developmental milestones while working closely with families and a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate children with developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, cerebral palsy, and other pediatric conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child's unique needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, visual-motor integration, self-care skills, handwriting, coordination, and activities of daily living.
  • Educate and train parents and caregivers on home programs and strategies to support continued progress.
  • Collaborate with physicians, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, teachers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Foster a positive, engaging, and child-friendly therapeutic environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and professional standards.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state Occupational Therapist license.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients preferred (new graduates with pediatric clinical experience are encouraged to apply).
  • Strong knowledge of child development and pediatric therapeutic interventions.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • CPR certification preferred
