Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students across a supportive school district for the 26/27 academic year. We're seeking a dynamic and adaptable Occupational Therapist ready to make a meaningful difference district-wide, providing essential services that foster student growth and educational success. Enjoy a full-time schedule—8 hours per day—while working closely with a dedicated team and supporting a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). The district collaborates to keep travel between schools convenient and manageable.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Current and valid Occupational Therapy license Experience in school-based settings preferred Competence in home health and healthcare environments a plus Previous supervisory experience or willingness to mentor a COTA Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities Enthusiasm for working with students of diverse backgrounds and needsResponsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions to students across multiple schools Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Supervise and collaborate with a COTA, providing mentorship and support as needed Consult with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for all cases Travel between schools as assigned, with efforts made to minimize commute timesWhy You'll Love This Role:
