Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Looking for an exciting contract opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives? This school-based position is your chance to contribute as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) within a collaborative educational setting near Inverness, FL. You'll work with students of varying ages, providing support to help them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Ideal candidates have previous experience working in a school environment and are passionate about empowering children with diverse needs. The role requires effective communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work closely with educators, support staff, and families to maximize each student's potential.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Florida licensure as an OT or COTA (or eligibility to obtain) Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to provide both direct and consultative services
Key Responsibilities:
