As an Occupational Therapist (OTR) , you will play a crucial role in our in-house subacute rehabilitation program. You will provide therapeutic interventions aimed at improving residents' physical, mental, and emotional well-being, allowing them to engage in meaningful activities and regain independence. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create personalized care plans that support each resident's rehabilitation goals.Key Responsibilities :
Assess and Treat :
Conduct thorough evaluations of residents' physical, mental, and emotional conditions to create customized treatment plans focused on rehabilitation and recovery.Facilitate Daily Living :
Work with residents to improve their ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, grooming, and mobility, to regain their independence.Collaborate :
Work alongside nurses, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each resident's recovery plan.Document Progress :
Track and document residents' progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to achieve the best possible outcomes.Promote Well-Being :
Inspire and motivate residents to push through rehabilitation challenges, providing both physical and emotional support throughout their recovery.Qualifications :
Current Florida Occupational Therapy License (OTR)Current CPR Certification Experience :
At least one (1) year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting is preferred, but we are open to passionate new graduates.
