Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make an impact in the lives of K-12 students by bringing your occupational therapy expertise to a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Situated within a welcoming school community in the Lake Placid, FL area, this on-site role is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to support students' growth and success. This position spans the full academic year, starting in August 2026 and concluding in May 2027, with a consistent 40-hour workweek. You'll have the chance to work with a diverse group of students across all grade levels, collaborating with educators and families to provide essential therapies.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license in Florida (or eligibility by the contract start date) Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred Skilled in evaluating and treating a broad range of physical, sensory, and developmental challenges in children and adolescents Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, students, and parents Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment Ability to adapt interventions to meet the individualized needs of students
Key Responsibilities:
