Work Environment This role requires you to work onsite, providing direct patient care in a home environment, which allows for a unique therapeutic relationship with clients in a familiar setting. The schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, offering structure and work-life balance in a supportive outpatient clinic atmosphere. Key Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist at Mobility Works, your responsibilities will involve: Conducting thorough patient examinations and evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing specific functional limitations and promoting recovery. Utilizing state-of-the-art treatment protocols based on clinical evidence and patient evaluations, ensuring the utmost quality of care. Maintaining compliance with state practice acts, contributing to an understanding of the legal frameworks governing physical therapy. Documenting all patient interactions thoroughly, including initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, interim progress summaries, and discharge evaluations, fostering clear communication. Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, ensuring continuity of care through effective communication regarding changes in patient conditions that may require modification of the treatment plan. Engaging in continual professional development by attending regular team meetings, in-services, and case conferences to share knowledge and implement best practices. Participating actively in initiatives aimed at removing barriers to access and enhancing patient care, such as understanding CSI measurement data for ongoing improvement. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will be directly impacting a diverse patient population, including individuals with chronic conditions, post-operative rehabilitation needs, and those requiring general mobility support. The patient demographic spans various age groups, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients in their home environments, which helps tailor interventions to their specific needs and facilitates greater adherence to therapy. Qualifications To be a successful candidate for this position, you must possess: A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited academic program. A valid state license to practice as a physical therapist in Florida. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in physical therapy, with a comprehensive understanding of both hands-on treatment techniques and patient management strategies. A current CPR certification to ensure protocol adherence during emergencies. Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with patients and collaborate effectively with team members. Preferred Experience Preferred candidates will have experience with digital solutions related to personal training or similar applications. This familiarity can enhance patient engagement through innovative therapies and technology integration in your rehab practices.
