9693051-32068 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist, supporting students across several campuses on the north and west sides of Jacksonville, FL. This role offers the chance to help students achieve greater independence while working in a flexible, part-time schedule14 hours per week across four private school sitesmaking a meaningful impact in diverse educational settings. The caseload will primarily involve itinerant support, and as additional students are identified, there is potential for this role to expand to a full-time position.

Key Qualifications:

Current and active Florida Department of Health Occupational Therapist license. Previous experience in school-based OT settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued. Familiarity with itinerant support models and the ability to adapt therapy plans across multiple school sites. Up-to-date fingerprint clearance via the AHCA Clearinghouse, or willingness to immediately complete necessary forms and new prints as required. Commitment to engaging collaboratively with staff, administrators, and families to promote student success. Strong documentation and case management skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their individualized education plans (IEPs). Travel between assigned private campuses, offering support that enhances fine motor, sensory, and functional skills for a broad age range. Assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions that foster improved participation in classroom activities. Collaborate closely with special education teams and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings. Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state guidelines.
