We provide Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy services in a collaborative, supportive environment dedicated to helping children reach their full potential. You will also partner closely with families to provide education, home programs, and recommendations that promote success beyond the therapy session. Duties Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical, social/emotional, and cognitive abilities to determine their needs. Develop individualized treatment plans that address specific goals. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and promote independence. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other OT's, ST's, PT's and any other professional working with your client. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and continuation of care in the home environment. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments. Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients returning home or moving to other care settings. Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes. Skills To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills: Knowledge of pediatric development Knowledge of a variety of developmental disabilities Ability to work collaboratively with families A love for children and a playful energy Experience working with pediatric populations is a plus. Ability to manage cases effectively while collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
