Qualifications:

Active state Occupational Therapy license, or eligibility to obtain licensure in Florida Previous experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred Solid understanding of educational therapy for children and adolescents Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

Assess students functional skills and develop tailored interventions Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize learning environments Develop and monitor IEPs, keeping accurate student records Provide direct therapy to individuals and small groups Educate school staff on adaptive strategies and OT best practices
