• Summary:

• Provides comprehensive evaluation, treatment planning, and skilled occupational therapy interventions for patients based on individualized functional needs and established standards of practice.

Ensures all care is delivered in accordance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements, professional guidelines, and organizational policies. Provides clinical oversight and direction to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, Rehabilitation Technicians, Fitness Specialists, Massage Therapists, occupational therapy (OT)/occupational therapy assistant (OTA) students, and volunteers as appropriate. A licensed Occupational Therapist may supervise only one permittee at any given time, per regulatory requirements. Contributes to patient access, throughput, safety, and overall clinic performance through effective communication, timely documentation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
