Job Description

Village Place Health and Rehab has an exciting opportunity to join our team in our beautifully renovated, 104 bed skilled nursing facility. Our facility offers a supportive family environment with a compassionate rehab team which is led by an experienced Director of Rehabilitation. Rehabilitation techs are utilized to assist therapists with resident transport and administrative functions. The rehab department utilizes Net Health-Therapy and Point Click Care for billing and documentation to assist therapists with daily efficiency where quality care remains the primary focus of each therapist. The facility offers 6-day a week, in-house comprehensive rehabilitation program where the OT is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team. Our rehab positions are stable and secure at one location. Each rehab department offers a spacious gym.

JOB SUMMARY
Conducts screenings of residents as scheduled to determine the need for evaluation and/or intervention Evaluate residents per physician orders to obtain comprehensive data to be utilized in developing the plan of care Provide Occupational Therapy treatment to residents when indicated per the plan of care Supervision of
OTA/COTA
Actively engage and contribute to the success of the rehab department, IDT, and facility success
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program A current Florida Occupational Therapy License Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Must be computer/tech savvy To learn more about this exciting career opportunity, please apply online now!
