Overview Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapy (PRN)
Location:
Port Richey, FL Schedule:
Weekdays, PRN Pay:
$47/hr Select Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced Hand Therapist (OT) to join our outpatient team. Treat a variety of upper extremity conditions including post-op fractures, tendon injuries, and more. Splinting experience preferred. Manage 10-12 patients per day using evidence-based care. Work alongside top hand surgeons in a well-equipped clinic. Be part of a growing national hand therapy program. Minimum 2 years of hand therapy experience required. Apply today! Responsibilities Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers. Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care. Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff. Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception). Qualifications Must be a graduate of an AOTA accredited school of Occupational Therapy and state OT License required Experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedics is required Occupational Therapists with a minimum of two (2) yr recent hand therapy experience. Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification Valid driver's license
