ProCare Therapy is partnering with a school district in St. Johns County, Florida to hire a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for the 2026-2027 school year beginning in August 2026. In this role, you'll work with students across elementary and middle school campuses, helping them develop the functional skills needed to succeed academically and independently. Position Details Full-time opportunity 2026-2027 school year August 2026 start date Onsite position in St. Johns County, FL 4 days per week serving an elementary school caseload 1 day per week serving a middle school caseload Caseload details discussed during the interview Collaborative special education team and supportive district administration Key Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEP goals Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and functional assessments Develop individualized treatment plans that support students' educational participation and independence Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations regarding therapy services Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines Qualifications Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy Active Florida Occupational Therapy license Ability to provide onsite services in a school setting Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Previous pediatric or school-based experience is preferred but not required Candidates transitioning from hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation facilities, or pediatric practices are encouraged to apply Why Partner with ProCare Therapy?
