Job Description

We are growing and adding to our team! Occupational Therapist Job Responsibilities Determining appropriate occupational therapy treatment plans through documented evaluations and consultations. Provide training on use of necessary occupational therapy equipment as deemed appropriate. Carefully transcribing all services provided by occupational therapist in an effective and clear manner. Striving for professional development and timely completion of duties. Consistently providing only the highest quality of occupational therapy service. Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of all State regulations pertaining to the services provided. Supervising of COTA(s) when applicable Work with children ages birth- 18 years old with developmental delay, to include functional communication and/or speech delay. Evaluate and treat specific goals for children and families. Provide tools and strategies to help families achieve outcomes. Communicate well with team members and families. Ensure all regulatory requirements are met. Implement company standards of care, policies, and procedures. Instill confidence in children. We prefer experience with the integrating the sensory system and retained privative reflexes with experience with sensory diets. Company Profile South Walton Academy is a non-profit, private school serving children from ages 3 years old through the 12th grade with an out-patient, private pediatric therapy program. We are an inclusive school meeting the needs of all children while making accommodations for children with special needs.
