Occupational Therapist (OT) - Home Health (Independent Contractor)Job Type Contract (1099) Per Visit PRN Flexible Schedule Compensation $80-$150 per visit , based on visit type, experience, geographic coverage area, and patient needs. Schedule Hours may vary based on patient census and referral volume. Flexible scheduling available. Visits assigned according to therapist availability and service area. Hours are not guaranteed and will vary based on patient referrals and agency needs. Job Summary Prime Care Home Health Services LLC is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing home health team as an Independent Contractor. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients and providing therapeutic interventions that help individuals achieve maximum independence in activities of daily living (ADLs), improve functional performance, and enhance overall quality of life in the home setting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs. Assess patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs). Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and functional independence. Evaluate and recommend adaptive equipment and home safety modifications. Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and safety techniques. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency policies and regulatory requirements. Participate in care coordination and case conferences as needed. Comply with all HIPAA, agency, state, and federal regulations. Qualifications Active Florida Occupational Therapist License. Current CPR Certification. Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation. Professional liability insurance preferred. Home Health experience preferred but not required.
