$42.00 - $45.00 per hour based on experience Sunshine Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a full-time, salaried Occupational Therapist (OT) for our Pediatric Outpatient Therapy program. The successful candidate will be licensed in Florida with at least one year of experience working with pediatric patients. Sunshine Physical Therapy Clinic is the only non-profit therapy clinic in Indian River County, FL. We offer Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies for both adults and children in an interdisciplinary setting prioritizing the needs of the individual over the bottom line. Established in 1953, Sunshine Physical Therapy Clinic has maintained a reputation of excellence for over 70 years, meeting the needs of individuals seeking therapy services regardless of their ability to pay. We accept most major medical insurances, Medicare, and Medicaid.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Development and implementation of plans of care for children who present with a variety of diagnoses and disorders.
  • Patient and family education about issues relating to their occupational therapy
  • Preparation of Home Exercise Programs appropriate to each individual patient
  • Knowledge of patient outcomes and trends utilizing therapy principles, theories, methods and their appropriate applications
  • Direct supervision of
Occupational Therapy Assistants Requirements:
  • Licensed in the State of Florida;
  • 1 year minimum experience with the pediatric population;
  • Medicaid certification a plus;
  • Experience with InSync and/or MedBridge platforms a plus;
  • Experience working with adults with special needs a plus.
