Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Valid and current OT license in Georgia, or ability to obtain prior to start Previous experience providing Occupational Therapy in a hospital setting Strong understanding of therapy assessment tools, treatment planning, and documentation Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Team-oriented mindset, eager to collaborate with multidisciplinary staff Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and organizational protocols
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' abilities and develop individualized care plans Deliver occupational therapy treatments aimed at improving daily living skills Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other staff members Document patient progress accurately in accordance with hospital standards Educate patients and families on continuing care and therapeutic exercises Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
