Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Previous experience in a school environment or with pediatric populations preferred Familiarity with IEP development and goal writing Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments for students referred for OT services Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing your expertise to student support strategies Collaborate with educational teams to help students succeed in classroom environments Provide direct intervention services and support the development of fine motor, sensory-processing, and daily living skills Maintain thorough and timely records of student progress, attendance, and service delivery Educate staff and families on strategies to reinforce therapeutic goals throughout the school day
