Key Qualifications:

Active Occupational Therapist license for the state Experience in a school setting, including direct therapy and consultation Familiarity with conducting and interpreting occupational therapy assessments for students Skills in developing individualized treatment plans and IEP collaboration Strong communication abilities to work effectively with teachers, families, and staff Adaptability and initiative in a dynamic school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs Assess student needs and document progress toward therapeutic and educational goals Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize support Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations on accommodations or modifications Offer consultative support and training for school staff regarding sensory, motor, and adaptive strategies Maintain accurate records and submit timely progress documentation
