Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist, delivering vital teletherapy and onsite OT services for school-aged students. You'll play a key leadership role by supervising two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), while ensuring students thrive academically and socially. This is an engaging position that balances hands-on student interaction with professional development, all within a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services in a school-based setting, including teletherapy sessions Conduct screenings and in-depth evaluations to address students' diverse needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans for optimal student outcomes Offer mentorship and direct supervision to two COTAs, fostering their professional growth Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, communicating progress and strategies with educators and families Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred Teletherapy skills and familiarity with virtual platforms Strong ability to supervise and support COTAs Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities Capacity to manage caseloads, perform timely evaluations, and maintain detailed records You'll find value in a role where your expertise is recognized and your collaboration shapes positive student experiences.
