Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Role:

Acute Care Occupational Therapist (OT) providing patient assessments, treatment planning, and rehabilitation services in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include:

Implementing and revising individualized treatment plans to restore or improve daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, and range of motion. Collaborating with physicians and family to establish and evaluate care goals and discharge plans. Providing patient and family education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources. Documenting evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans according to departmental protocols. Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining confidentiality. Participating in team meetings, professional development, and mandatory training.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Licensure as an Occupational Therapist and BLS certification. Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
