Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist supporting students in a vibrant and collaborative educational environment. This contract role is perfect for professionals passionate about making a difference through school-based OT services—including direct therapy and teletherapy—while also mentoring others and contributing to student growth. You'll supervise two dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, help oversee effective service delivery, and play a key role in conducting initial screeners and formal evaluations. Your expertise will ensure students receive nurturing, informed interventions designed to foster their success.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy Current state OT license and credentials (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience providing school-based OT services required Comfortable delivering both in-person and teletherapy interventions Strong leadership skills with prior experience supervising COTAs a plus Excellent communication and organization abilities Motivated, student-focused, and committed to professional growth
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive OT services to students according to their IEPs Supervise and provide guidance to two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants Conduct screeners and detailed evaluations for student referrals Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families Maintain clear documentation of therapy sessions, evaluations, and progress notes Design and implement individualized treatment plans that empower student participation within the school setting Ready for the next step?
