Key Qualifications:

Must hold current COMS certification through AVCREP. Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) teaching certification. Exceptional collaboration and communication skills. Ability to travel between different school locations within the district.

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive orientation and mobility instruction tailored to each students needs and learning environment. Assess, plan, and execute individualized programs to improve students' navigation and independence. Collaborate with teachers, related service professionals, and families as part of the IEP team. Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as required. Provide consultative support to educational staff regarding accommodations and best practices.
