9650071-30083 Job Description Step into a part-time opportunity working with 5th and 6th grade students, making a meaningful impact on their educational journey. This long-term contract role centers on providing specialized occupational therapy services to a focused caseload of two students, ensuring individualized support and progress in a supportive school environment. In this role, you will: Deliver direct occupational therapy services onsite, offering 30 minutes a week per student, aligned with IEP requirements Evaluate and address each students fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities to enhance classroom participation Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and school-based teams to create tailored accommodations and classroom strategies Document student progress and interventions, maintaining thorough records in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and ongoing student needs Uphold all compliance measures to fulfill the requirements of IEPs and state regulations Successful candidates must demonstrate: Valid Georgia Occupational Therapist license and GaPSC certification (both required) Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued Background in working with students with disabilities preferred Ability to clear all required background checks and submit clearance documentation Commitment to providing all services onsite, with strong communication and collaboration skills This flexible, part-time assignment extends through the end of the 2025-26 school year, offering a chance to work closely with students and educators.
