This clinic employs Physical, Occupational and Massage Therapists- an experienced and passionate team of people who have wonderfully loyal patients and perform as a team to collaborate and challenge each other every day. We are looking for a Per Diem (less than 20 hours/wk) Occupational Therapist to work with us along side our Industrial Medicine Consultant- and perform Work Conditioning/ Work Hardening and Post-Offer Testing. If you are an Occupational therapist and you are interested in this specialty of outpatient therapy but have not had the opportunity to develop these skills, this is an excellent opportunity to join our team and help contribute to this program. You will be working hand in hand with our Lead OT to help patients get back to work as they are rehabilitating from work injuries and wanting to return to full function. Our program would allow you to be mentored under a master Industrial Medicine consultant, an amazing opportunity to help you succeed in your personal and professional goals! What you need to be successful:- Desire to provide excellent care in an outpatient clinic setting
- Strong empathy skills and a healthy mental outlook, ability to help coach patients and "train" them to get back to the job they love doing
- Communicate well with our patients and other team members
- Ability to work closely with all clinic staff- other Patient Care Coordinators, PT's, PTA's, OT's and massage therapists- to create positive patient experiences, cultivate strong team relationships, and build morale.
- Ability to be adaptable with team members, be enthusiastic and proactive to get patients scheduled and to help create a positive impact in people's lives.
