Job Description
Job Overview:
Multi-award winning pediatric therapy company. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients ages 0-18 to help with ADLs, handwriting, emotional regulation, feeding, and more. Accross from Kailua beach park at Kailua Beach Center. Team of OT, PT, and Speech Therapists!Duties:
- Evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional abilities through assessments and interviews
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Provide therapy sessions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and daily living activities
- Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in patient care, preferably in a pediatric setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and time management skills for efficient case management
