Full-Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist - Ames Location Rise Pediatric Therapy provides speech, occupational, and feeding therapy services to children and families across Central Iowa. Overview We are seeking a passionate, collaborative, and child-centered Occupational Therapist to join our growing Ames team full-time! You will collaborate within a supportive multidisciplinary environment while making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. We are looking for an OT who is passionate about pediatric therapy, thrives in a team setting, and is excited to build strong relationships with both families and coworkers. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for pediatric clients Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's strengths, needs, and goals Provide evidence-based, play-based therapy interventions targeting areas such as: Sensory processing Fine motor skills Emotional regulation Self-care and daily living skills Visual motor integration Coordination and motor planning Educate and collaborate closely with caregivers to support carryover at home and in the community Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress notes, and treatment plans Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including speech therapists, feeding therapists, physicians, teachers, and other providers Participate in team meetings, mentorship opportunities, and ongoing professional development Qualifications Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy Active Iowa Occupational Therapy license (or ability to obtain prior to start date) 1-2 years of experience working with pediatric populations as an Occupational Therapist required Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Passion for neurodiversity-affirming, relationship-based, and play-based care Ability to work independently while also thriving within a collaborative team environment What We Offer Supportive and collaborative clinic culture Multidisciplinary team environment Mentorship and leadership support Strong work-life balance CEU and professional development support Medical and vision insurance Retirement matching, PTO, paid holidays Student loan forgiveness Opportunities for growth and to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families every day.
