Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students with diverse needs in an educational setting near Genesee, ID. This contract position is perfect for a skilled Occupational Therapist eager to make a difference during the 2026-2027 school year. The assignment runs from August 26th, 2026, through June 9th, 2027, offering a chance to build impactful connections and see tangible progress in your students. You'll work with a dynamic caseload of approximately 50 students with a variety of sensory and fine motor skill requirements. The role is designed for a full-time, 40-hour workweek, but flexibility is possible—a four-day schedule may be available depending on overall staffing.
Ideal Qualifications and Experience:
Valid OT or COTA licensure (school-based experience preferred) Background in OT across settings: K-12 schools, home health, general healthcare, or teletherapy Strong understanding of sensory integration and fine motor interventions Experience with individualized education plans (IEPs) and documenting progress Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other therapists Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
