Qualifications:

Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Masters degree in Occupational Therapy required Experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings preferred Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team Strong communication and organizational skills Open to engaging with new techniques and best practices in the field

Responsibilities:

Assess students to identify developmental delays or educational barriers Develop and implement customized treatment plans targeting sensory, fine motor, and functional skills Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to integrate OT strategies into the classroom Document progress and maintain necessary paperwork in compliance with school and state requirements Serve as a resource for staff and parents, offering guidance on adaptive equipment and classroom modifications Participate in IEP meetings as needed to advocate for student needs
